The Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site celebrates the landmark case that forever ended legal segregation in our nation's schools. In 1953 thirteen parents brought a suit against the Topeka Board of Education arguing on behalf of their children's education, the museum explores the history and the outcome of the case. The national landmark is south of the river within walking distance of the Topeka Amtrak rails.
